riiiiight...Carolina can't even win their own division in the ACC

and VT not wanting to join the SEC has nothing to do with whether or not they'd be afraid of losing...Beamer, the AD, Greenberg, none of those guys have any say in if VT goes anyway...football wins and losses have as much bearing on their decision as flying unicorns and fairy dust do

Think $$$ not who is winning their divisions. UNC brings in way more national audience than VT as a whole. VT has football and doesn't really draw for anything else as far as ratings go. UNC of course is bball centric, but also has a top flight baseball program, and do to their alumni situation will draw throughout the US also. Like I said, though, its not going to happen because of Duke and others, and the SEC wont even bark up that tree because of it IMO.

And Beast, 4 titles? You talking about the Packers?

Clemson would be perfect. They even cheat like an SEC school lol. Clemson is a sleeping giant. Great, great program. For whatever reason, they have been coached by absolute trash since Ford left. If they ever get that right, they will win, and win a lot.

FWIW though I'm not a big fan of having more than 12 teams in a conference.
10 yrs is right if they get maybe 10 more yrs of being a strong program and a larger fan base they would be a good thing for the SEC. Someone has already stated that the in state rivalries the other teams bring would be good for the SEC .

They better consult with UVa first, we learned years ago that VT can't stand on its own two feet when it comes to conference affiliation.
